Overview: Introduction to Prenatal Sciences and Human Rights-Based Community Work
In this final module of our training program, participants will explore the intersection of prenatal sciences, human rights, and community work. By understanding how these areas intersect, participants will be equipped to advocate for the rights of the unborn child and expectant parents within their communities.
Key Components:
Intersection of Prenatal Sciences, Human Rights & Community Work: Participants will examine the convergence of prenatal sciences with human rights principles and community work.
Community Engagement Strategies: Participants will learn effective strategies for engaging with community members and stakeholders to promote awareness and understanding of prenatal sciences and human rights. Participants will study effective tools to respond to the needs of the community.
Tools: Participants will get to know how to do needs analysis, explore the assets and challenges of the community, work with stakeholders and policy makers. Guidelines for Observational Work and Community Mapping will be explained as well as network building.
By exploring the intersection of prenatal sciences, human rights, and community work, participants in this module will gain a deeper understanding of the work involved. With this knowledge, participants will be better equipped to advocate for the rights of unborn children and expectant parents within their communities and contribute to the promotion of prenatal health and well-being for all.
