Towards a New Educational Paradigm Based in the Understanding of the Consciousness of the Unborn Child
Recognizing that the child has his/ her own inner life since conception, which makes this child present and the protagonist of his/her own existence, and recognizing that this child is endowed with his/her own psychobiological identity and has his/her own life plan, means that our whole attitude needs to change. A new educational model, far from the traditional one, which has always been considered marginal and essentially passive needs to be established. We should base this new model on the understanding of the child’s inner dynamics, on the interactions of relationships created and we should focus our attention on the cultivation of an intimate dialogue between parents and child, which should be always nourished. These aspects give the child the opportunity not only to be understood, but also to be helped to live in a way that is coherent with his or her life project and to express the best of his or her own potential. If these conditions are met, the child can open up like the flower petals and shine in the environment around him/herself enjoying the values (scents) that (s)he embodies in him/herself, sharing the vitality, naturalness, joy, tenderness, peace (s)he represents, qualities particularly useful in giving meaning to our existence. The presentation will show how this shift can manifest.
