As much of the world grapples with rising costs of living, some face even more dire situations. We invite you to read the inspiring story behind the Fremo Birth Centre in Kenya, a shining example of what can be achieved when people unite for a common philanthropic goal.
Located in the slums of Nairobi, the Fremo Medical and Birth Centre has become an institution that spreads dignity and hope to families in need. Serving the local community with maternal and medical services, Fremo stands out for its commitment to:

The Current Crisis
In the recent months of April and May, devastating floods have swept away precious equipment, supplies, and medical records. Moffat Osoro, the leader and Founder, is tirelessly working on the cleanup, but with no insurance payments or government support, the situation remains critical. Adding to the challenge, Fremo also operates a school accommodating 80 children each year. The floods have damaged many of the school books, and they need to be replaced. Moreover, Fremo ensures that each child receives at least one nutritious meal per day.
Why We Need Your Help
The flooding has rendered the situation extremely unsafe, exacerbated by an ongoing doctor’s strike. This means access to advanced medical care is nearly impossible, and costs have skyrocketed. For example, the cost of a caesarean section is now ten times higher than ever before, a burden that the women in the community cannot bear.
Our Goal
We aim to raise 5,000 euros to help Fremo Medical and Birth Centre recover from the flood disaster. Additionally, we would like to arrange for packages of material supplies to support their ongoing efforts.

- 2-liter plastic ziplock bags for placentas (100 or more welcome)
- Unlocked phones with chargers (ensure they are unlocked)
- Laptops (ensure no passcodes or provide them, better yet, delete the passcode)
