Watch the documentary “Born Too Soon” and the supplement uploaded herewith. Imagine that you are asked to support either the baby or any of the parents presented in the documentary who has a prematurely born baby. For this assignment you are kindly asked to do the following:
1. Describe the situation.
2. Mention the main areas of concern when a baby is a preemie. List them using 1 or 2 sentences.
3. Describe the profile of the chosen person (baby, mum or dad)
4. Focus on the main areas of concern. List them.
5. Choose 2 of them and share the psychotherapy process you might consider follow to support him/her. Explain the goals, support why they are significant and what will the impact be if successful.
6. Make any comments you wish to share and any proposals to professionals or rellevant stakeholders.
