What is the NESTing Study Group?
In embryology, nesting marks a pivotal moment—the embryo embeds self into the uterine lining, forming a vital connection with the environment and laying the foundation for all future development. Similarly, the NESTing Study Group creates a space for deep reflection, where ideas, experiences, and insights can take root and grow.
This ten-session series invites participants into open, one-hour conversations held every two weeks, each centered around a specific theme drawn from M-Other: Me, the Other. Moving beyond biology, these discussions explore the interconnected nature of existence, the role of planetary education starting before conception, and the journey from information to knowledge and then wisdom. We will reflect on the integration of cultures, the unseen forces shaping human experience, and the urgent need to expand our understanding of who we are and why we are here—now.
More specifically our conversations will be around the following Aims and Goals:
-
Cultivate a more expansive understanding of who we are and why we are here now, starting from before conception.
-
Explore the interconnected nature of existence, integrating scientific, philosophical, and ancestral perspectives.
-
Reflect on how patterns in nature, symmetry, and cycles reveal wisdom about life’s unfolding.
-
Move beyond the biological view of the prenate to honor the sentience and consciousness of the being in gestation.
-
Reimagine education as a lifelong, planetary process that begins before birth and continues through embodied experience, knowledge, and wisdom.
-
Foster a dialogue on coexistence, collaboration, and the foundations of peace, recognizing how our beginnings shape the future of human relationships.
In a time of great transition, this study group serves as a place to cultivate awareness, challenge assumptions, and explore how the very beginnings of life contain the blueprint for our collective future. Just as the embryo’s successful implantation determines the course of the development, the ideas we nurture today shape the world of tomorrow. Through these conversations, we lay the groundwork for a new paradigm of learning—one that honors complexity, interconnection, and the lifelong unfolding of human potential.
Each session invites participants into a shared inquiry, where knowledge is not given but discovered through conversation, contemplation, and connection.
